典型的な旗竿地に建つ、工場とオフィスプロジェクト。敷地境界線をなぞるように壁を建て、内部に柱のない構造体としている。外壁をなす構造体による市松パターンがもたらす開口部の配置は、猥雑な隣地への視線を適度にコントロールし、柔らかにこの場と外部とを境界づけている。

A project for an office and factory for the production of prostheses, contained on a typical flagpole-shaped site. The building is organized around a central 6m x 6m x 6m glass box floating in midair. All sightlines are focused towards the resulting interior courtyard, ensuring spatial continuity and reinforcing the sense of a shared space between the office and factory employees. Exterior load bearing walls tracing the site boundaries and extend to the maximum permissible height in order to provide flexible column-free interiors and maximize floor area. The exterior structural walls of precast concrete are stacked and then post-stressed, resulting in a checkerboard arrangement between the structure and windows.
